Jayden Transport in Montreal is seeking an experienced Class 1 driver (minimum 3 years) to manage container drayage tasks for ocean containers to and from Port of Montreal, CN, CP, and container depots. The role requires safe vehicle operation and clear communication with dispatchers and customers.

Pay ranges from $28.00 to $29.00 per hour, with on-site work. Primary duties include timely pickups and deliveries, adhering to traffic laws, vehicle inspections, and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Valid Quebec class 1 license with at least 3 years of driving experience.
• Clean driving record with no major violations.
• Ability to operate a truck safely and professionally.
• Strong communication skills for coordination with dispatchers and customers.
• Detail-oriented and able to follow instructions precisely.

Jayden Transport is a trucking company located in Montreal offering container drayage services. We are in search for an experienced class 1 driver(minimum 3 years) who will take care of our customers.

Driver’s main task is to pick up and deliver ocean containers(20’ 40’ 45’) to/from Port of Montreal, CN, CP, Container Depots and our customers.

Duties:

• Safely operate a truck to transport goods from one location to another
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
• Communicate with dispatchers, customers
• Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and on time

Skills:

• Valid Quebec class 1 driver's license for three years
• Clean driving record with no major violations
• Ability to operate a truck in a safe manner
• Strong communication skills
