Truck Driver (Full Time, Permanent)

6 POSITIONS – $26.50 per hour – RIGAUD, QC (Quebec Inc. O/A Manak Logistics).

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience: Will train.

Location: On-site only, no remote work.

Responsibilities

• Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
• Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy.
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
• Oversee vehicle condition and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment.
• Perform brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs.
• Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspection; oversee all aspects of vehicle.
• Perform preventive maintenance.
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
• Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo.

Credentials

• Air Brakes Endorsement
• Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks)
