Job summary

Klassen is seeking an experienced Class 1 Super B Driver for night shifts out of Merritt. You’ll run a Super B configuration hauling sawdust, wood chips, and wood residuals on dependable local routes, with nights paid at a premium and regular home time.

The position offers starting pay of $36.50/hr with a $2/hr night premium, overtime after 45 hours/week, and opportunities for quarterly profit sharing. Full benefits and a clear path to long-term local work are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 licence and a clean driver's abstract.
• Minimum 2 years Class 1 experience; Super B experience preferred (or a strong driver ready to train into it).
• Comfortable working overnight; loader experience an asset; dependable and self-directed.
• Passport / US-border eligibility an asset

Responsibilities

• Haul sawdust, wood chips, and bulk wood residuals on local routes.
• Nights: 6:00 PM–4:00 AM, Tuesday–Saturday; home terminal Merritt, BC.
• Operate Super B configuration as part of local operations.

About the Role

We're hiring an experienced Class 1 Super B Driver for our night shift out of Merritt — steady, local, and home every shift. You'll run a Super B configuration hauling sawdust, wood chips and bulk wood residuals on dependable local routes, with quieter roads and a built-in night premium. Super B is our top tier, and nights pay the most we offer for local work — ideal for a strong driver who likes to run hard and get home.

• Starting $36.50/hr — includes a $2/hr night premium over the day rate — plus overtime after 45 hours/week
• Quarterly profit sharing — K-Bucks, 5–20% target — plus performance and safety bonuses
• Effective earnings approximately $38–$44/hr with profit sharing; illustrative $95,000–$107,000/year
• Full-time, permanent; night shift (e.g., 6:00 PM–4:00 AM), Tuesday–Saturday; home terminal Merritt, BC
