Job summary

NSSL is a family-owned yard management specialist in North America. We are hiring Class 1 Shunt drivers for full-time and part-time roles in Canada. You will shuttle trailers between load areas and docks, perform routine vehicle checks, and transport loads safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Using shunt truck to move trailers between load and dock areas.
• Carry out routine vehicle checks and basic maintenance.
• Transport loads safely and efficiently within yard operations.
• Adhere to company rules and safety policies.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and reporting of issues.

Duties & responsibilities:

• Using Shunt truck trailers between Load and dock.
• Carry out routine vehicle checks.
• Transporting loads safely and efficiently
• Abide with company rules, regulations, and policies.
• Ensuring vehicle is maintained clean.

Qualifications:

• Valid Class 1 license
• Efficient trailer back-up and parking skills
• 1 year trucking experience (Shunting experience an asset)
