Job summary

Manitoulin Transport is seeking a Class 1 Full Roamer Driver based out of High Level, AB, serving a Northern Canadian network with LCV linehaul routes. You will perform deliveries and pickups, conduct pre-trip/post-trip inspections, maintain logs, and ensure regulatory compliance while coordinating with dispatch and customers.

The role emphasizes load security, route planning, safety, and on-time performance, with opportunities for growth across our national network.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 Driver's License.
• 2 years of Class 1 experience (LCV Qualifications). We are willing to train qualified applicants.
• Mountain qualified (will train the right candidate).

Responsibilities

• Operate Class 1 vehicles for LCV linehaul routes throughout Northern Canada.
• Complete deliveries and pick-ups of goods in a safe and timely manner.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues.
• Maintain accurate electronic logs and ensure compliance with transportation regulations and hours of service.
• Secure loads properly and verify documentation before departure.
• Communicate with dispatch, customers, and management regarding delivery status and issues.
• Adhere to safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
• Plan efficient routes and manage time to meet delivery schedules.

We are looking to hire a “Class 1 Full Roamer Driver” out of our High Level, ABterminal. This position is in various locations throughout our Northern Canadian network. Your Key responsibilities will include:

• Operating Class 1 vehicles for LCV linehaul routes throughout Northern Canada
• Completing deliveries and pick-ups of goods in a safe and timely manner
• Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and reporting any maintenance issues
