Job summary

Manitoulin Transport is hiring a Class 1 Full Roamer Driver out of High Level, AB, with routes across the Northern Canadian network. You will operate Class 1 vehicles, complete deliveries and pickups, and perform safety inspections while maintaining accurate logs and documentation.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate Class 1 vehicles for LCV linehaul routes in Northern Canada.
• Deliver and pick up goods safely and on time.
• Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report issues.
• Maintain electronic logs and comply with regulations and hours-of-service.
• Secure loads and verify documentation before departure.
• Communicate with dispatch, customers, and management about status.
• Follow safety protocols and company policies.
• Plan efficient routes and manage time to meet schedules.

We are looking to hire a “Class 1 Full Roamer Driver” out of our High Level, ABterminal. This position is in various locations throughout our Northern Canadian network. Your Key responsibilities will include:

• Operating Class 1 vehicles for LCV linehaul routes throughout Northern Canada
• Completing deliveries and pick-ups of goods in a safe and timely manner
• Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and reporting any maintenance issues
• Maintaining accurate electronic logsand ensuring compliance with all transportation regulations and hours-of-service requirements
• Securing loads properly and verifying documentation accuracy before departure
• Communicating effectively with dispatch, customers, and management regarding delivery status and any issues encountered
• Adhering to all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe working environment
• Planning efficient routes and managing time effectively to meet delivery schedules

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 Driver's License
• 2 years of Class 1 experience (For LCV Qualifications). We are willing to train qualified applicants
• Mountain qualified (will train the right candidate)
