Job summary

Manitoulin Transport is hiring a Class 1 Full Roamer Truck Driver to operate out of the Whitehorse terminal, covering routes across Northern Canada. You will perform deliveries, keep logs, and ensure load security while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 Driver's License
• 2 years of experience (LCV qualifications)
• Mountain qualified (will train the right candidate)
• Physically fit

Responsibilities

• Operate Class 1 vehicles for LCV linehaul routes throughout Northern Canada
• Complete deliveries and pickups of goods in a safe and timely manner
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues
• Maintain accurate electronic logs and ensure compliance with regulations and hours-of-service requirements
• Secure loads properly and verify documentation before departure
• Communicate with dispatch, customers, and management regarding delivery status and issues
• Adhere to safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe working environment
• Plan efficient routes and manage time to meet delivery schedules
