Job summary

Manitoulin Transport is seeking a Class 1 Full Roamer Driver based in Lloydminster, AB. The role involves covering various driving positions across Western and Northern Canada, booked weekly at different locations, with dock work required.

You may be away for 1–3 weeks at a time; hotel and travel costs are covered when covering other terminals. The position requires valid Class 1 license, 2 years of Class 1 experience, mountain qualification (training provided), physical fitness, clean criminal

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class 1 Driver's License.
• Minimum 2 years of Class 1 driving experience.
• Mountain qualifications available with training for suitable candidates.
• Physically fit for potentially demanding shifts and dock work.
• Criminal record check required.
• Clean driving record (drivers abstract).
• Two work references required.

Responsibilities

• Cover various driving positions in Western and Northern Canada network.
• Be booked for a week at a time at different locations.
• Cover for driver shortages in line haul (LCV) or pickup and delivery as needed.
• Dock work required during shifts.
• Based in Lloydminster, AB; potential 1–3 week relocations to other locations with hotel/travel covered when away.
