Job summary

Harnois Énergies in Sainte-Martine, Quebec is seeking a Class 1 Truck Driver to operate a modern tanker truck for long-distance deliveries and spend nights on the road.

You will work independently, perform daily inspections, ensure product is secured, and coordinate with dispatch to optimize routes and schedules. The role requires a Class 1 FM license, 3+ years of experience, and bilingual French/English; comprehensive training is provided.

Qualifications

• Class 1 FM driver's license required.
• Minimum 3 years driving experience.
• Health and safety awareness at work.
• Bilingual French and English (English for client communications).

Responsibilities

• Drive a tanker truck for long-distance deliveries.
• Deliver special products to commercial customers.
• Fill out delivery slips, submit invoices and obtain signatures, complete the logbook and transmit information on return.
• Daily vehicle inspections; report defects to supervisor.
• Maintain safe and compliant handling of petroleum products.

Your future responsibilities as aClass 1 Truck Driver:

• Drive a tanker truck for long-distance deliveries, checking routes with the dispatcher and ensuring the safe arrangement of product inside the truck;
• Deliver special products to commercial customers;
• Fill out delivery slips, submit invoices to customers and obtain their signatures, complete the logbook and transmit information on your return;
• Carry out daily physical inspections of the truck and its equipment, draw up a report and inform your superior of any breakdowns or defects;
• Maintain safe and compliant practices when handling petroleum products.

Will you be our nextClass 1 Truck Driver?

• You have a class 1 driver's license (FM);
• You have a minimum of 3 years' experience as a driver;
• Mechanical knowledge is an asset;
• You have a heightened awareness of health and safety at work;
• You have a good knowledge of French and English (English is required to communicate with our English-speaking clientele).
