Job summary

Midland Transport Limited is currently seeking a professional Class 1 Night Switch Driver based out of Corner Brook, NL. You will be responsible for linehaul operations, nightly shifts, and safe truck handling.

The role requires a valid Class 1 license with 3+ years of North American tractor-trailer experience, a clean abstract, and strong communication skills. Benefits include health plans, bonuses, vacation, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Clean driving record and criminal search.
• Night driving experience preferred.
• Familiarity with satellite navigation systems.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with proper equipment.
• Safety conscious and attentive to procedures.

Responsibilities

• Run linehaul between Corner Brook, NL and Gander, NL.
• Communicate efficiently with dispatch.
• Operate trailer according to safety regulations and company rules.
• Perform pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspections.
• Report any incident, accident, injury or damage promptly.

JOB DESCRIPTION Midland Transport Limited is currently seeking a professional Class 1 Night Switch Driver based out of Corner Brook, NL. The selected candidate will be a reliable person with a strong work ethic, positive attitude and strong commitment to providing Superior Quality Service.

Shift: Monday-Friday (20:00-06:00)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Running Linehaul between Corner Brook, NL, and Gander, NL
• Communicate efficiently with the dispatch.
• Operate the trailer in accordance with the safety regulation: company rules while following safety procedures and traffic laws.
• Perform pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the truck operation.
• Report any incident, accident, injury or damage in a timely manner.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education Required: High School or GED.
• Class 1 driver's license with a minimum of 3 years of safe tractor trailer driving experience in North America required.
