Qualifications

  • 2 years of safe tractor-trailer driving experience in North America.

  • Operate the tractor-trailer in accordance with safety regulations.

Job Description

Midland Transport Limited is currently seeking a professional Class 1 Linehaul Truck Driver – Intermodal. The driver will be based out of the Moncton Terminal, NB.

The selected candidate will be a reliable person with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a strong commitment to providing superior quality service.

Shift:

4 days on – 4 days off (0400-1600 or 0500-1700)

Responsibilities:
  • Running Linehaul in a Maritime region between rail yards and Midland Terminals.
  • Deliver freight to assigned locations ensuring timely delivery.
  • Safely offload variable shipment weights and handle freight equipment properly to avoid damage.
  • Communicate efficiently with central dispatch and customers.
  • Operate the tractor-trailer in accordance with safety regulations, company rules, traffic laws, and safety procedures.
  • Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of truck operation.
  • Report any incidents, accidents, injuries, or damages promptly.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Class 1 driver’s license with a minimum of 2 years of safe tractor-trailer driving experience in North America.
  • Clean driver’s abstract and criminal record check.
  • Familiarity with satellite systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, work ethic, and reliability.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. using proper equipment.
  • Safety conscious.
