A leading transportation company is seeking Class 1 Linehaul Team Truck Drivers for routes from the Maritimes to South Carolina. The drivers will be responsible for ensuring safe and timely deliveries, maintaining communication with dispatch and customers, and must meet specific training and licensing requirements. Midland Transport Limited is currently seeking professional Class 1 Linehaul Team Truck Drivers – Michelin run. The Drivers/team can be based out of any major city in the Maritimes including, but not limited to Fredericton, Moncton, Halifax, Saint John and Charlottetown.
The selected candidate will be a reliable person with a strong work ethic, positive attitude and strong commitment to providing Superior Quality Service.

•Education Required: High School or GED.
•Class 1 driver’s license with a minimum of 2 years of safe tractor trailer driving experience.
•Clean driver’s abstract and criminal search.
•Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
•Eligibility to receive a FAST card.
•Eligibility to cross the border with US.
•Familiarity with satellite systems.
•Excellent communication skills, work ethic and reliability.
•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
•Able to lift up to 50 lbs. using the proper equipment.
•Safety conscious.
•Must have flexibility to work various shifts: Days, Evenings, Nights, Weekends.
•Running Linehaul from Maritimes to South Carolina - 2 trips each run and 3 days off between runs.
•Deliver freight to assigned locations ensuring timely delivery.
•Offload variable shipment weight and handle freight equipment properly and in a safe manner to avoid any damage.
•Communicate efficiently with the central dispatch and customers.
•Operate the tractor trailer in accordance with the safety regulation: company rules while following safety procedures and traffic laws.
•Perform pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the truck operation.
•Report any incident, accident, injury or damage in a timely manner.
•Willingness to work linehaul legs into the United States, including New York and New Jersey.
