A leading transportation company is seeking a reliable Class 1 Linehaul Truck Driver for intermodal transport from Moncton Terminal. This role requires strong communication skills, a commitment to safety, and a Class 1 license with two years of driving experience. The ideal candidate enjoys independence and responsibility in a challenging and fast-paced environment.
Midland Transport Limited is currently seeking professional Class 1 Linehaul Truck Driver – Intermodal. The Driver will be based out of Moncton Terminal. NB.
The selected candidate will be a reliable person with a strong work ethic, positive attitude and strong commitment to providing Superior Quality Service.
Shift: 4 days on – 4 days off (0400-1600 or 0500-1700)

• Education Required: High School or GED.
• Class 1 driver’s license with a minimum of 2 years of safe tractor trailer driving experience in North America required.
• Clean driver’s abstract and criminal search.
• Familiarity with satellite systems.
• Excellent communication skills, work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. using the proper equipment.
• Safety conscious.
• Running Linehaul in a Maritime between the rail yards and Midland Terminals.
• Deliver freight to assigned locations ensuring timely delivery.
• Offload variable shipment weight and handle freight equipment properly and in a safe manner to avoid any damage.
• Communicate efficiently with the central dispatch and customers.
• Operate the tractor trailer in accordance with the safety regulation: company rules while following safety procedures and traffic laws.
• Perform pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the truck operation.
• Report any incident, accident, injury or damage in a timely manner.
