Job summary

TST-CF Express is seeking a Class 1 Driver for vacation relief in Lethbridge. You will cover local city pick-up and delivery, operate in a unionized environment, and join a team with modern equipment.

Ideal candidates have a Class 1 license with air brake endorsement and at least two years of local driving experience. You must be flexible with shifts and pass background checks. Training and benefits are provided by the company.

Qualifications

• You have a Class 1 license, air brake endorsement, and a clean driver’s abstract.
• Minimum 2 years of Class 1 driving experience, local P&D preferred.
• Familiarity with local area truck routes, industrial zones and dangerous goods routes is an asset.
• This is a unionized position and shifts are determined on a seniority basis. All candidates must be available for any shift (24-hour operations).
• Candidates must have reliable means of transportation to get to work.
• Candidates must pass a criminal background and drug test for illegal substance - company paid.

Responsibilities

• Flexibility to drive various Class 1 vehicles and equipment, must be able to drive manual transmission.
• Ensure secure loads, pick-up and deliver freight locally.
• Have a natural customer service focus.
• Maintain routine communication with dispatch/yard control.
• Perform daily inspections and safety checks.
• Work in a team-oriented, fast paced environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

We are hiring Class 1 Drivers for City (Pick-up and Delivery) in Lethbridge who will be covering people on Vacation leaves
