Job summary

TST-CF Express in Surrey is seeking Class 1 drivers for city pick-up and delivery. You will drive a mix of 5-ton and single-axle trucks to securely load and deliver freight locally, with a customer-service focus and constant dispatch communication.

Shifts cover 24-hour operations; 24-hour availability is required. Unionized environment with shift seniority. Benefits include pension and health coverage with opportunities for premiums and bonuses.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class 1 license with air brake endorsement.
• Minimum 2 years of Class 1 driving experience; Local LTL P&D preferred.
• Familiarity with local truck routes, industrial zones, and dangerous goods routes is an asset.
• Must be available for any shift (24-hour operations) and pass background/drug checks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain loads securely and complete local pickups and deliveries.
• Operate various Class 1 vehicles and manual transmissions.
• Provide dependable customer service and communicate with dispatch.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and safety checks.
• Work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

We are hiring Class 1 Drivers for City (Pick-up and Delivery) in Surrey. The individual is required to drive a combination of 5 tons and Single axle trucks.

What you will be doing:

• Drivers need to have 24 hours availability. Expected to work any shifts. Premiums will be paid
• Flexibility to drive various Class 1 vehicles and equipment, must be able to drive manual transmission
• Ensure secure loads, pick-up and deliver freight locally
• Have a natural customer service focus
• Maintain routine communication with dispatch/yard control
• Perform daily inspections and safety checks
• Work in a team-oriented, fast paced environment
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

What are we looking for?

• You have a Class 1 license, air brake endorsement, and a clean driver’s abstract
• Minimum 2 years of Class 1 driving experience, Local LTL P&D preferred

• This is a unionized position and shifts are determined on a seniority basis. All candidates must be available for any shift (24-hour operations)
