Job summary

Manitoulin Transport is seeking a Class 1 Full Roamer Driver based in Lloydminster, AB. The role involves covering weekly shifts at multiple terminals across Western and Northern Canada, with travel to other locations as required.

You will be booked for a week at a time, handling linehaul, pickup and delivery, and some dock work. Travel and hotel costs are covered when you’re away; tuition reimbursement and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 Driver's License.
• 2 years of Class 1 experience (LCV qualifications).
• Mountain qualified (will train the right candidate).
• Physically fit and able to meet driving demands.
• Criminal record check required.
• Drivers abstract in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Cover various driving positions across Western and Northern Canada.
• Roam for 1–3 weeks at different locations, hotel/travel costs paid when away.
• Occasional dock work and vehicle handling as needed.

As a “Class 1 Full Roamer Driver,” you will cover various driving positions in locations throughout our Western and Northern Canada network.

You will be booked for a week at a time in different locations. You will cover for driver shortages inline haul(LCV) or pickup and delivery (tractor & trailer or body job) as required for that week. There will be dock work required.

You will be based in Lloydminster, AB, but we may send you away for (1-3) weeks to another location. When covering another terminal, we will pay the hotel and travel costs (if using your vehicle).

• Valid Class 1 Driver's License
