Job summary

Techo-Bloc Inc. is seeking a driver for cross-border and regional routes from Saint-Hubert, QC. The role involves transporting Techo-Bloc products to distribution centers in Pennsylvania, Ontario, and the Midwest, with flatbed trailers and minimal tarping.

Expect an average annual earnings around $100K, paid per mile with premiums, and a Monday–Friday schedule with home most weekends. Training provided for flatbed operations and cross-border work.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 driver's licence required.
• Minimum 3 years of Class 1 experience or CFTR/ CFTC/ CFCP certification.
• Strong driving record with <=5 demerit points.
• Valid passport for cross-border travel.
• Functional English required.
• Flatbed experience is an asset but not required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Transport Techo-Bloc products between facilities and distribution centers in PA, Ontario, and Midwest.
• Safely secure and inspect loads on flatbed trailers.
• Complete transportation documents and electronic logs.
• Follow health and safety procedures; operate and maintain equipment.

This is a physically demanding position. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds (23kg). Manual dexterity, teamwork, hand-eye co-ordination and a combination of sitting, standing and walking required.
