Geotech Drilling is seeking a reliable Class 1 Heavy Fleet Tractor & Trailer Driver to join our team in Canada. You will operate heavy tractor-trailer units, load and transport equipment, and complete required documentation to support field operations.

The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and strong customer service as you coordinate shipments to project sites across North America.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 Driver's Licence with Air Brake Endorsement.
• Clean driving record and safety-focused mindset.
• Experience operating heavy tractor-trailer units.
• Ability to complete vehicle inspections and paperwork accurately.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class 1 tractor-trailer units and other company vehicles as required.
• Load, secure, transport, and offload equipment and supplies per regulations and standards.
• Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections and document findings.
• Complete daily logs, vehicle inspection reports, and shipping paperwork.
• Ensure cargo is properly secured and transported to project locations.
• Assist with loading/unloading equipment and support fleet/operations teams.
• Adhere to company policies and National Safety Code requirements.
• Report defects or maintenance needs promptly.

Class 1 Heavy Fleet Tractor & Trailer Driver

We are seeking a reliable, safety-focused, and motivated Class 1 Heavy Fleet Tractor & Trailer Driver to join our team. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in transporting equipment safely and efficiently to support field operations.

As a key member of our fleet team, you will be responsible for the safe operation of heavy fleet tractor-trailer units, loading and transporting equipment, completing required documentation, and supporting operational teams as needed. The successful candidate will demonstrate professionalism, initiative, and a strong commitment to safety and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class 1 tractor-trailer units and other company vehicles as required.
• Load, secure, transport, and offload equipment, materials, and supplies in accordance with transportation regulations and company standards.
• Conduct and document pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections.
• Complete all required paperwork, including daily logbooks, vehicle inspection reports, and shipping documentation.
• Ensure cargo is properly secured and transported safely to project locations.
• Operate hand tools and assist with loading/unloading equipment as required.
• Support Fleet and Operations personnel in the execution of projects and logistics activities.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and National Safety Code requirements.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and report any defects, malfunctions, or maintenance concerns immediately.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Valid Class 1 Driver's Licence with Air Brake Endorsement.
• Clean driver's abstract and strong safety record.
• Experience operating heavy fleet tractor and trailer combinations.
• Knowledge of load securement requirements and transportation regulations.
• Ability to complete vehicle inspections and transportation documentation accurately.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Mechanical aptitude and equipment handling experience are considered assets.
• Ability to lift, load, and handle equipment and supplies safely.

Compensation

$30.00 - $35.00 per hour.
