Job summary

Knappett Industries is seeking a Class 1 Gravel Truck and Low Bed Driver to support projects in Fort St. John, BC. You will load, haul and position heavy equipment and gravel, working outdoors in all weather with safety and teamwork at the core.

This full-time position offers an hourly rate plus LOA for out-of-town employees, with benefits including health and dental, life insurance, RRSP after 3 months, and an open-door promotion path. Start date is May 2026.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of loading and transporting heavy equipment with tandem tractor lowbed and dump gravel hauling in the Peace Region (< 140 chars)
• Experience with hydro vac is preferred
• Positive attitude and works well with others
• Professional demeanour when dealing with the public
• Able to work outside in all-weather at all times of the year
• Physically fit and able to lift 50 pounds or more

This position is compensated at an hourly rate plus LOA for our of town employees. Compensation will be determined by the successful applicant’s level of training and experience.
