Job summary
Northrok Construction Ltd. is looking for dependable and safety-focused Class 1 Drivers in Carrot River, Saskatchewan, who take pride in their equipment and value teamwork. The drivers will be responsible for safely operating tractor-trailer units, completing inspections, securing loads, and following all safety regulations. Basic repair skills are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 1 tractor-trailer units hauling wood chips and hog fuel.
- Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Secure and transport loads safely while following transportation regulations.
- Complete electronic logs, inspection reports, and required paperwork accurately.
- Communicate with operations regarding schedules, delays, and road conditions.
- Report mechanical issues promptly.
- Follow company safety policies and provincial regulations.
- Ability to perform basic repairs is a plus.
