Job description

Edge Transportation specializes in flat deck, heavy haul, and over-dimensional freight services throughout North America. We handle full truckload and less-than-truckload needs, ensuring secure and efficient transport with experienced operators.

Additionally, we offer Drayage services, which involve transporting freight containers over short distances—an essential part of intermodal shipping. This includes moving containers in and out of warehouses, rail terminals, ocean ports, and harbors, often involving loading and unloading large steel shipping containers from rail cars and ships onto truck trailers, then transporting them to warehouses or storage facilities.

Edge Transport is growing and currently seeking experienced Class 1 flat deck drivers. We provide training for those looking to gain experience with Super B trucks. Candidates can be based in Edmonton, Meadow Lake, North Battleford, or Saskatoon. The shift consists of 5 days on and 2 days off, with the flexibility to choose your start day. You will have a dedicated lane, so you know where you'll be driving each day.

What You Bring

• A positive CAN-DO attitude

• Class 1A Driver’s License with a minimum of 5 years highway driving experience
• 2 years of Super B flat/step deck experience
• A clean driver’s abstract with no suspensions
• Ability to pass a criminal record check and pre-employment drug screening
