Job summary

Linde Canada Inc. is seeking a full-time Class 1/3 Route Delivery Driver responsible for the safe transport and delivery of gas cylinders. You will load/unload, record quantities, and ensure shipments align with documents.

Requirements include 2+ years Class 1/3 driving, a valid license with air brake endorsement, TDG/WHMIS training, and ability to lift up to 60 pounds. Knowledge of compressed gases is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of Class 1 or Class 3 driving experience.
• Provincial Driver's License valid, incident-free, with air brake endorsement.
• Able to handle various cylinder sizes and weights safely.
• Knowledge of compressed gases and safe handling.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload cylinders; count and record quantities and styles to match shipping documents.
• Check and placard vehicle per TDG regulations.
• Follow safety procedures during tasks.
• Complete shipping orders and related paperwork.
• Prepare trip reports, fuel tickets and other required reports.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections and report defects.
• Identify maintenance needs for vehicles and coordinate repairs.

Job description

Class 1 / Class 3 Route Delivery Driver (full time)

The Driver is responsible for the safe transportation and delivery of gas cylinders to customers.

What you will enjoy doing*

• You will be responsible to load and unload cylinders, count and record quantities and styles of product to ensure actual load complies with shipping documents
• Check and placard vehicle according to Transportation of *Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations is part of your role
• Follow operating and safety procedures while completing the assigned tasks
• Further, you will complete shipping orders and related paperwork
• Additionally, complete trip reports, fuel tickets, and other necessary reports
• Conduct pre and post trip inspections, noting and explaining defects or deficiencies to supervisor
• Also, you will identify need for repairs and / or maintenance to vehicles and ensure maintenance or repairs are conducted with minimal disruption to the operation

• You have a minimum of two (2) years of Class 1 or Class 3 driving experience
• Your provincial Driver's License is valid, incident-free, and includes air brake endorsement
• Moreover you are able to manipulate a variety of cylinder sizes and weights as required

This is an existing position with a starting rate of $39.73 per hour.
