Job summary

Linde Canada Inc. is seeking a Class 3/DZ Route Delivery Driver for full-time work in Canada. The driver will transport and deliver gas cylinders to customers, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance throughout loading, transport, and unloading processes.

Responsibilities include accurate loading/unloading, TDG compliance, paperwork completion, and routine vehicle inspections. Requires two+ years driving experience, valid license with air brake endorsement, and ability to lift up to 60 pounds.

Qualifications

• Requires minimum two years of AZ/DZ/Class 3 driving experience.
• Valid provincial driver’s license with air brake endorsement.
• Able to lift up to 60 pounds; able to handle varied cylinder sizes.
• Trained in Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) and WHMIS.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload cylinders and record quantities/types to match shipping documents.
• Check and placard vehicle according to TDG regulations.
• Follow safety procedures and complete assigned tasks.
• Complete shipping orders and related paperwork.
• Submit trip reports, fuel tickets, and other required reports.
• Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report defects to supervisor.
• Identify maintenance needs and ensure timely repairs with minimal disruption.

Class 3 / DZ Route Delivery Driver (full time)

The Driver is responsible for the safe transportation and delivery of gas cylinders to customers.

What you will enjoy doing*

• You will be responsible to load and unload cylinders, count and record quantities and styles of product to ensure actual load complies with shipping documents
• Check and placard vehicle according to Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations is part of your role
• Follow operating and safety procedures while completing the assigned tasks
• Further, you will complete shipping orders and related paperwork
• Additionally, complete trip reports, fuel tickets, and other necessary reports
• Conduct pre and post trip inspections, noting and explaining defects or deficiencies to supervisor
• Also, you will identify need for repairs and / or maintenance to vehicles and ensure maintenance or repairs are conducted with minimal disruption to the operation

• You have a minimum of two (2) years of AZ / DZ / Class 1 or Class 3 driving experience
• Your provincial Driver's License is valid, incident-free, and includes air brake endorsement
• Moreover you are able to manipulate a variety of cylinder sizes and weights as required

• Your strong mechanical aptitude sets you apart
