Job description

  • Build strong relationships with policyholders, brokers and internal stakeholders, delivering a consistently high standard of customer service.
  • Work closely with response vendors during claims incidents, ensuring insureds receive timely, effective and value-for-money support.
  • Ensure claims are reserved promptly and accurately, identifying recovery opportunities and taking steps to reduce claims leakage.
  • Prioritise effectively and manage key deadlines, including those arising from lawsuits, demand letters and claims queries.
  • Partner with service providers to ensure high-quality support is delivered within agreed timeframes.
  • Maintain accurate electronic claims files, support payment requests and contribute to the production of management information.
  • Share claims insight and trends with underwriters and Product teams to support ongoing product development and wording improvements.
  • Identify and elevate claims-related issues to your line manager where appropriate.
