Echelon Insurance in Mississauga is seeking an Intermediate Claims Adjuster who will oversee complex long haul trucking, CGL and commercial auto claims. You’ll investigate, evaluate, and settle claims with a dynamic team in a high-performance environment, ensuring timely resolution and quality outcomes.

The role requires 3–5 years of casualty claims experience, knowledge of US jurisdictions, and strong customer service with excellent time management.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of progressive casualty management claims experience.
• Knowledge of multiple US jurisdictions and strong dispute resolution skills.
• Knowledge of principles and practices in claims settlement and coverage issues.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with time management.
• Ability to prioritize and produce quality work with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, and negotiate claims of varying complexity.
• Maintain control of expenses through proactive handling techniques.
• Conduct technical audits to monitor quality, reserving, and expenses.
• Handle and settle claims within prescribed authority.
• Identify subrogation opportunities and manage salvage/recovery.
