Job summary

CAA Club Group in Mississauga is seeking an experienced Intermediate Claims Adjuster for CGL and Bodily Injury. You will oversee and handle complex long-haul trucking, towing, CGL, and commercial auto claims, ensuring thorough investigation, evaluation, and timely resolution.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years in casualty claims, knowledge of US jurisdictions, and strong dispute resolution skills. CIP designation is preferred; post-secondary education is expected.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of progressive casualty management claims experience.
• Knowledge of multiple US jurisdictions and strong dispute resolution skills.
• Knowledge of principles and practices in claims settlement, policy wording, fraud investigations and coverage issues.
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to prioritize and produce quality work with attention to detail and accuracy.

• Maintain control of expenses through pro-active handling techniques.
• Conduct technical audits to monitor quality, activity, reserving and expenses.

• Manage salvage/recovery.

Position Details

The Intermediate Claims Adjuster, CGL and Bodily Injury is responsible for oversight and handling of complex long haul trucking (LHT), towing, commercial general liability (CGL) and commercial automobile claims. Claims are moderate to severe in nature and the successful candidate will have a dynamic personality and the ability to excel in a high performance environment while ensuring claims are properly investigated, evaluated, and resolved in a timely manner.
