The Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) is looking for a claims registration officer to manage incoming claims and ensure they are decision-ready. This role requires strong customer service skills and effective communication to educate stakeholders about the WSIB process while maintaining high-quality service standards.
Candidates must have a high school diploma with additional training and at least one year of customer service experience. The position is based in Hamilton, Ontario, and offers temporary work for up to six months at a rate of $32.85 per hour.

Hourly rate: $32.85 per hour
Hours: 0–14.5 hours per week
As a key contributor to the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) Employee Value Proposition (EVP), you will proactively gather and clarify information to register new claims, respond to enquiries, and ensure claims are decision‑ready for management. You will review incoming documents, set up and update claims and worker profiles in our systems, and communicate with workplace parties to complete information using the 5‑point check system. You will deliver clear education about the WSIB claims process, online services, and next steps, upholding our commitment to excellent customer service and efficient claims processing.
