Job summary

Jobtailor in Vancouver is seeking an experienced Claims Leadership professional to provide technical guidance, coaching and management of the claims staff. You will support the Claims unit and serve as the first line of conversation for the adjudication team, ensuring efficient investigation, analysis and settlements of claims.

This role emphasizes tracking KPIs, timely adjudication, and strong engagement of the claims team.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education related to insurance.
• CIP designation pursued or completed.
• Strong adjusting background in P&C including CGL/Auto BI.

Job description

• Ensure claims are adjudicated in a timely and accurate manner

Requirements

• Post-Secondary Education, ideally in an Insurance focused program or related program
• Completed or working towards the CIP designation
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the property and casualty industry
• Minimum of 3-5 years of claims leadership/mentorship experience
• Strong adjusting background with in-depth knowledge of CGL and Auto BI
• Strong technical skills with MS Office Suite
• Ability to clearly communicate with Claimants, Brokers, and Legal Counsel
