Trident Global Assistance is looking for four Claims Examiners to join the company on a full-time basis. Currently, this position works from home but may require working from the office in the future.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Manage mid to high-level complexity travel insurance claims
• Verify coverage
• Analyze and address coverage issues under insurance policies accurately and timely
• Conduct investigations of claims using internal and external resources
• Determine eligibility for coverage based on policy terms and conditions
• Identify subrogation and benefits coordination opportunities
• Set and manage expense reserves throughout the claim lifecycle
• Record claims information, conversations, and decisions accurately
• Assist with claim inquiries
• Build and maintain relationships with insureds, providers, and underwriters
• Participate as a team member, contributing ideas and supporting department goals
• Assist with training and mentoring new staff
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong investigative and problem-solving skills
• Time management and organizational skills
• Knowledge of medical terminology is an asset
• Proficiency with MS Office and Internet
• Passion for providing exceptional customer service
• Post-secondary education
