Job summary

Venor in Dartmouth, NS, is seeking a Case Work Excellence Specialist to coach, onboard, train, and drive continuous improvement across claims management teams. You will help case workers apply legislation, policies, contracts, and best practices in return to work, long-term, and specialized claims management.

Working with Operational Managers, you will identify development needs, design coaching plans, give timely feedback, and track progress to performance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, business, safety, health management, or education.
• Min 5 years in a case management environment with 3+ years coaching or 5 years in curriculum design for adult learners.
• Min 3 years in a senior decision-making role.
• Experience building inter- and cross-departmental relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day coaching, onboarding, and job-specific training.
• Develop learning and coaching plans and monitor employee progress.
• Provide constructive feedback and identify further development needs.
• Support learning initiatives, quality measurement, and performance reporting.
• Collaborate with managers, case workers, and internal partners to improve claims management practices.
