Job summary

Aviva Canada is seeking a Claims Analyst to support its reinsurance and delegated claims programs. You will manage claims and bordereaux, coordinate payments, and ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance across multiple business lines.

You will build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners, contribute to program governance, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of commercial property and casualty claims operations.
• Understanding of delegated claims authority programs, TPAs, MGAs, and claims administration practices.
• Knowledge of reinsurance arrangements and workflows.
• Familiarity with Guidewire ClaimCenter or similar claims management systems.
• Understanding of financial reporting, claims reserving principles, and claims accounting processes.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review, and process claims and reinsurance bordereaux.
• Coordinate payments with reinsurance department or centralized unit.
• Enter and maintain claims, incidents, reserves, payments, recoveries, and financial transactions in Guidewire ClaimCenter.
