Job summary

Aviva Canada is seeking a Claims Analyst to support reinsurance and delegated claims programs. You’ll manage claims, bordereaux, and financial transactions, while ensuring accuracy and timely processing.

Qualifications

• Experience handling commercial property & casualty claims operations.
• Knowledge of delegated claims authority programs, TPAs, MGAs, and claims administration.
• Familiarity with reinsurance workflows and financial reporting.
• Proficiency with Guidewire ClaimCenter or similar claims systems.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review, and process claims and reinsurance bordereaux.
• Coordinate payments with the reinsurance department or centralized payment unit.
• Enter and maintain claims, incidents, reserves, payments, recoveries, and financial transactions in Guidewire ClaimCenter.
• Ensure information is processed within SLAs and commitments.
• Monitor delegated authority claims programs and reinsurance arrangements for compliance.
