The Opportunity

A well-established and growing commercial insurance brokerage is seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Claims Advisorto join their team. The successful candidate will be a proactive self-starter with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic. In this role, you will coordinate efforts between insurance carriers and Account Executives to ensure exceptional claims handling and advocacy on behalf of clients.

Who You Are
You are a dedicated insurance professional with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial insurance claims handling. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are looking to join a forward-thinking brokerage with a progressive leadership team, this opportunity is for you.


What You Bring

  • Level 2 Insurance License (or willingness to obtain)
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial claims handling
  • Strong knowledge of policy wordings across multiple insurance carriers
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with colleagues, clients, and industry partners
  • Excellent verbal, written communication and negotiation skills
  • Progress toward or completion of CIP, CRM or CAIB designation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Epic (or similar insurance platforms) is an asset
