What it’s like to be a Northbridge Claims Adjuster:

As a Claims Adjuster, you will be part of a dynamic team that prides itself on having a sharp eye for detail while keeping the customer experience top of mind. Our Property Adjusters provide efficient and prompt investigation on property damages, including theft, disappearance of jewelry, wind claims, and even potential exposure to CAT claims. Along with Claims handling, they will be heavily involved with subrogation files and assist our Leaders with ad-hoc projects that arise.

If you are great at:

  • Thoroughly investigating & evaluating assigned Property claims
  • Approving and adjusting estimates of damage and loss amounts
  • Estimating repair cost, replacement, or compensation
  • Managing stressful calls and clearly delivering decisions on claims
  • Effectively managing a busy day-to-day schedule
  • Providing a great Customer experience

And you have:

  • Post-Secondary Education in an insurance-focused program or a related program
  • Completed or working towards the CIP designation
  • A minimum of 3 years of Property Claims Handling
  • Experience with Xactimate and Encircle is an asset
  • Strong technical skills with the MS Office Suite
  • Ability to clearly communicate with Claimants, Brokers, and Vendors

Salary range- $65,000 - $75,000 for Vancouver, BC.

Actual pay may be below or above the range based on candidates' knowledge, skills, and level of ability relative to expectations for the role applied to. Candidates with salary expectations outside of the range are encouraged to apply.
