Job summary

GHD seeks graduates in civil/structural engineering to support design, planning and delivery of infrastructure projects. You will work with experienced engineers on bridges, culverts and other transportation structures, under mentorship, while developing technical capability and professional skills.

The role offers hybrid work in Ontario locations including Whitby, Markham, Toronto, Mississauga or St. Catharines, with opportunities for growth and exposure to multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• A degree in civil or structural engineering
• 0-2 years of related experience
• Valid Ontario driver's license
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Support management of client relationships using relevant systems.
• Participate in design and construction of bridges and other transportation structures.
• Prepare contract documents for transportation projects.
• Perform data collection and analysis for design and evaluation.
• Create engineering drawings to communicate designs.
• Contribute to feasibility testing and design validation.
• Inspect bridges, culverts, and retaining walls; compile reports.
• Ensure health, safety and environment compliance on projects.
• Assist with project management activities.
• Support bid/tender response preparation
