Fluor Canada invites recent Civil/Structural Engineering graduates to join our Civil/Structural team as EITs. You will assist in design and analysis of structures and foundations, coordinate project components, and contribute from feasibility studies through construction.

Qualifications

• Graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering in 2026/2027.
• A Structural minor with courses in structural (concrete and steel) design.
• Geotechnical and civil courses are an asset.
• Field and design experience is an asset.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Design and analysis of structures, buildings, foundations and piles.
• Work ranges from simple foundations and structures to complex structures, and dynamic considerations are frequently involved in dealing with vibratory equipment loads and earthquake forces.
• Design and analysis of roads and drainage.
• Coordination of Civil/Structural project components over the life of the project.
• Responsible for Civil/Structural engineering aspects on any given project.
• Involved in the total project early in career development; from preliminary site feasibility studies and basic design criteria through the actual design and construction of site layout, foundations, structures and buildings.

We are looking for New Grad Civil/Structural EIT’s to join our Civil/Structural team!

Civil/Structural EIT Responsibilities:

• Design and analysis of structures, buildings, foundations and piles.
• Work ranges from simple foundations and structures to complex structures, and dynamic considerations are frequently involved in dealing with vibratory equipment loads and earthquake forces.
• Design and analysis of roads and drainage.
• Coordination of Civil/Structural project components over the life of the project.

• Involved in the total project early in career development; from preliminary site feasibility studies and basic design criteria through the actual design and construction of site layout, foundations, structures and buildings.

Career Paths:

• Develop into a Lead Civil / Structural Engineer responsible for completing engineering and design on projects.
• Develop into a Lead Technical Civil / Structural Engineer responsible for technical oversight on projects.
• Develop into a technical Subject Matter Expert to support multiple projects and Fluor offices globally.
• Develop into Engineering Managers on projects directing multi-discipline engineering efforts
• Develop into Project Engineers and Project Managers.

Salary is based upon experience.
