Job summary

Aecon Civil is seeking a Quality Control Coordinator to conduct in‑process and final inspections, ensuring QA/QC compliance across major civil projects in Canada. You will support ISO 9001:2015 processes and collaborate with the QA team, clients, and subcontractors to maintain quality records and drive continuous improvement.

This role reports to the Quality Manager and involves audits, material verification, and non‑conformance management on a project including the Arctic Over the Horizon Radar

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or equivalent.
• 3-5 years in heavy civil or infrastructure construction.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and QA/QC processes.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and partners.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections per the Inspection and Test Plan.
• Maintain records of inspections and test results.
• Interpret civil drawings and verify material conformance.
• Issue and track non-conformance reports and corrective actions.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Promote safety awareness on site.
• Coordinate with management on QA activities.
