Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Civil Construction to join one of our general contracting clients in the Vancouver area on site 5 days per week. The PM will oversee delivery of complex civil and municipal projects, including water/wastewater infrastructure, bridges, and related heavy civil work.

The ideal candidate has GC background, 5+ years PM experience, and a strong track record with municipalities and public-sector owners in British Columbia.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Project Management experience in construction.
• Experience directly for a General Contractor.
• Direct water/wastewater construction experience.
• Strong communication and client-facing capabilities.
• Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related discipline.
• Experience on complex municipal infrastructure projects in British Columbia.
• Experience working with municipalities and other public-sector owners.
• P.Eng., PMP, Gold Seal, or similar professional designation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee successful delivery of complex civil and municipal infrastructure projects.
• Manage projects from pre-construction through closeout.

This individual will manage projects from pre-construction and planning through execution, turnover, and closeout.The ideal candidate comes directly from a General Contractor and has experience managing civil construction projects involving multiple subcontractors, consultants, owners, and field teams.

Skills and Requirements

• Direct water/wastewater construction experience.
• Strong communication and client-facing capabilities.
