Une entreprise dynamique dans le secteur de la construction recherche un Contremaître Civil pour superviser des projets à travers le Québec. Dans ce rôle essentiel, vous serez responsable de la gestion d'une équipe de travailleurs civils, en veillant à la qualité des installations selon les normes établies. Avec une expérience de 3 ans sur des chantiers de construction et un certificat CCQ valide, vous devrez faire preuve de leadership, d'organisation et d'autonomie. Job description

In order to support the continued growth of the group and ensure our succession, we currently have a great job opportunity to fill in our electrical substation division, a position of Civil Foreman. Do you like the dynamics of construction sites and are you mobile to supervise projects everywhere in Quebec? You may be the next member of our team that we are looking for!

Your Role:

Directly on construction sites, the Civil Foreman is in charge of the civil team (principally carpenters, surveyor) which is doing different types of civil work such as excavation, formwork, concreting, embankments, for high voltage electrical installations. Furthermore, he is responsible for:

• The planning of the work and all the resources needed (human and material);
• Ensuring the quality of all the installations according to the standards, plans, and quotations.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience on construction sites;
• Experience with Hydro-Quebec construction projects (an asset);
• Valid CCQ certificate;
• Sense of planning and organization;
• Autonomy, implementation of mandates according to budgets and deadlines;
• Rigor and leadership;
• Great ability to work in a team;
• Great mobility to carry out projects everywhere in Quebec.
