Qualifications
What you will need to succeed
- Hold a diploma in Civil Engineering Technology and valid registration as a Civil Engineering Technologist (CET) or Certified Technician (CTech) in Ontario.
- Have 2-5 years of industry experience, preferably in consulting engineering and/or municipal environments.
Experience
- Practical experience in functional and detailed design drawings of civil and municipal infrastructure projects, including roads, sewers, watermains, and drainage works.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D; working knowledge of Microstation / InRoads is a plus.
- Understanding of project design and implementation activities such as developing design drawings and reports, contract document preparation, tendering, and contract administration.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, organization, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
