Are you a recent Engineering Technology graduate with a passion for GIS, AutoCAD, and infrastructure development? Join our engineering team and help shape the future of our railway operations. We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to support our GIS initiatives and engineering projects.

Responsibilities

  • Update, manage, and maintain the railway’s Geographic Information System (GIS)
  • Support the development and deployment of GIS applications to enhance operational efficiency
  • Assist in the creation and revision of engineering drawings using AutoCAD
  • Provide field support and construction observation for capital and maintenance projects
  • Maintain and manage private crossing agreements, including record keeping and compliance monitoring
  • Support engineering field work with the use of survey equipment
  • Collaborate with internal engineering staff and external contractors to ensure project success.

Qualifications

  • A diploma in Civil, Geomatics, or Survey Engineering Technology
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and GIS platforms
  • Knowledge of basic surveying principles and equipment. Experience with ESRI would be an asset
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • A collaborative attitude and willingness to learn on the job
  • Valid driver’s license.
