Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. in Regina seeks a professional Civil/Municipal Engineer to join our Water group, delivering design and project coordination for conveyance projects across Saskatchewan.

You will perform varied design tasks, develop scopes, manage budgets, and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, while supporting regulatory processes and client meetings. A bachelor’s degree in civil/environmental engineering and P.Eng eligibility are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering from an accredited university and either a registered P.Eng. or ability to become registered with APEGS as a P.Eng.
• Minimum of 4–8 years of related experience.
• Experience providing design services and contract administration on linear infrastructure projects in Saskatchewan is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform broad, varied design tasks on assigned projects under supervision, including drawings, reports, specs, quantity take-offs, and regulatory submissions.
• Develop design through sketches and documentation in civil phases such as site plans and grading plans.
• Manage project scope, budget, staffing, and scheduling.
• Provide contract administration: progress estimates, change orders, RFI responses, and coordination during construction.
• Prepare conceptual to final design and participate in client meetings.
