Job summary

WCG is seeking a Provider Relationship Manager (Contract Manager) to build and manage a network of service providers, ensuring high-quality outcomes for participants and clients. The role requires weekly travel to Toronto area locations and occasional wider GTA travel, with a remote/home-office setup based in or near the Toronto region.

You will lead performance reviews, drive improvements, and partner with the operations team to meet funder requirements while ensuring financial and service

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years combined progressive strategic leadership and contract management experience in the field of Employment Services.
• Must pass a Criminal Record Check.
• Flexibility and the ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage a network of Service Providers, ensuring they provide high-quality service and meet/exceed contractual minimum performance/standards.
• Identify and address priority areas for performance and quality improvement through regular reviews and actions.
• Lead community engagement and integration with existing services.
• Identify provider support needs and coordinate capacity-building through programs and forums.
• Provide practical advice to maximize client service quality and performance opportunities.
• Maintain auditable records of contract management activities and ensure governance for audits.
• Manage revenue, operations and job seeker expenditures to meet financial objectives.
• Collaborate with the WCG Operational Team to drive performance improvements and align with funder priorities.
• Ensure compliance with WCG information security and data protection policies.

Location: Home office must be based within close proximity to Toronto region.

Travel Expectations: Regular (weekly) visits at Service Provider locations in Toronto region with occasional travel across the broader GTA.

The PRM will be responsible for building effective relationships and supporting your portfolio of providers to achieve great results for our clients and service users. The PRM will manage a network of Service Providers, ensuring they provide the highest level of service for Participants, and meet and exceed the contractual minimum expectations for performance and service standards. Identify and address priority areas for performance and continuous quality improvement to be addressed as part of a Service Provider Improvement Plan.

What you’ll do

• Manage a network of Service Providers, ensuring they provide the highest level of service for clients, and meet and exceed the contractual minimum expectations for performance and service standards
• Identify and address priority areas for performance and quality improvement through regular reviews and Improvement Action Planning
• Take a lead role in community engagement, and integration with existing services.
• Identify priority areas where Service Providers need additional support and capacity building to be addressed through support programs and a range of best practice forums.
• Provide practical advice and support to give a great quality service to the client, and maximize performance opportunities
• Maintain auditable records of the contract management activities undertaken with Service Providers and provide evidence of adherence to governance and procedures for internal and external audits and accreditations
• Manage revenue, operational and job seeker expenditures to ensure that the financial objectives of the business are met
• Develop and maintain an effective relationship with the WCG Operational Team to ensure that strategies to drive performance improvement and manage underperformance, align with catchment priorities and requirements to meet the needs of the funder and wider social impacts
• Ensure the operation complies with WCG's policies relation to Information security and Data protection

Qualifications

What you bring

• Minimum 5 years combined progressive strategic leadership and contract management experience in the field of Employment Services
• Must successful pass a Criminal Record Check
• Flexibility and the ability to work in different locations and travel as required
