Job summary

TRUE Consulting in Kamloops, BC seeks a Civil Engineer-in-Training to work on municipal projects including water, sanitary sewer, and stormwater systems, plus road and site improvements. You’ll join a team of engineers and project managers in a supportive setting that values practical, client-centered solutions.

Ideal candidates have 0–5 years of experience, are pursuing EGBC registration, and can use Civil 3D, WaterCAD, PCSWMM, or GIS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Civil Engineering or equivalent; registered or eligible for EGBC.
• Knowledge of water, sanitary sewer, and stormwater design.
• Experience with Civil 3D, WaterCAD, PCSWMM is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Civil design, project management and contract administration.
• Assist engineers with technical tasks and data accuracy.
• Model water systems and sewer/stormwater networks.
• Prepare memos, reports, and client presentations.
• Draft project specs and cost estimates.
• Use AutoCAD and Civil 3D; support senior staff.
• Travel within Interior BC; perform field inspections.
