Location: Greater Toronto Area - Commutable Distance
Schedule: Hybrid, 2 days WFH
Salary: $80,000-95,000+ (Intermediate), $110,000-130,000 (Senior)

Role & Responsibilities:

1. Seeking a Civil Engineer specialized in structural and bridge preliminary design and engineering proposals and recommendations.
2. Support ongoing and upcoming projects, conducting site inspections, and feasibility studies.
3. Create and prepare project estimates, proposals, budget, project schedule plan, and execution strategy.
4. Engage in the project management process. Monitor projects for adherence to timelines and budgets, notify relevant parties of updates.
5. Review work of and provide mentorship and coaching to Junior Engineers and EITs.
6. When assigned, sign and stamp drawings and reports.
7. Documentation preparation and writing, technical reports, specifications, municipal submissions, and technical proposals.
8. Ability to collaborate with internal and external parties, government agencies, contractors, and customers.

The Ideal Candidate Has:

1. Strong knowledge of conveyance structures and materials, flow structure, and water retention.
2. Advanced communication skills, ability to convey ideas and comments in a concise and professional manner verbally and in writing.
3. High attention to detail.
4. 5-10 years of relevant industry-related experience is strongly preferred.
5. Formal education in civil engineering from an accredited institution.
6. P.Eng, licensed by PEO is mandatory.
7. Valid license, ability to travel and visit project sites within Ontario.
8. MS Office proficiency.
