Job summary

WSP Canada in Medicine Hat, Alberta, is seeking a senior civil engineer with 15+ years of municipal infrastructure experience to help shape communities. Based in our local office, you will deliver water, wastewater, stormwater, and transportation projects and mentor junior engineers.

You will prepare detailed design reports, cost estimates, and regulatory documentation, collaborate across disciplines, and engage with clients, municipalities, and authorities to secure approvals, while championing

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive engineering experience in municipal infrastructure, water resources, and land development.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering and registration as a P.Eng. in Alberta.
• Proven experience delivering technically complex projects.
• Strong expertise in technical writing for reports, cost estimates, and regulatory documentation.
• Solid understanding of municipal bylaws, development approvals, and regulatory frameworks.

• Apply civil design expertise to deliver municipal infrastructure solutions, including water, wastewater, stormwater, and transportation.
