Qualifications

• 2+ years experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, MicroStation).
• 2+ years experience with Civil 3D modelling software (OpenRoads, Civil 3D).
• Intermediate computer skills including proficiency in software applications.

To support the growth of our civil engineering projects, we are seeking a talented and motivated Civil Designer to join their Calgary team.

Responsibilities:

• Create and design 3D models of civil works for projects of moderate scope.
• Collaborate closely with the Design Area Lead to ensure high-quality and innovative designs.
• Contribute to the success of client projects by delivering exceptional services and technical excellence.
• Effectively communicate with colleagues, clients, and contractors.
• Apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national regulations.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and work efficiently within deadlines.
• Possess a strong understanding of civil site grading, cut and fill, roadway design, and underground utilities.

Must Haves:

• Accredited two-year degree or diploma in civil engineering drafting and technology or equivalent
• Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency in word processing, email, spreadsheets, and presentation software
• 2+ years experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, MicroStation)
• 2+ years experience with Civil 3D modelling software (OpenRoads, Civil 3D)

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience working on a variety of civil engineering projects
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
