Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in strategic and business planning, preferably in a municipal government setting.
• Extensive knowledge of strategic and business planning cycles, policy development, benchmarking and performance measures.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design of the overarching strategic management framework for department business plans and corporate policies.
• Conduct enterprise-level research to inform long-term priorities and fiscal planning.
• Coordinate strategic foresight activities including horizon scanning and training.
• Identify automated solutions for data management to report on strategic results.
• Engage with Community Partners and support change management in business planning and performance reporting.
