Job summary

The Salvation Army in Ottawa is seeking a temporary Administrative Support Worker to assist the Toy Mountain Campaign during the Christmas season. You will oversee the Toy Mountain mailbox, help set up and distribute toys, and coordinate volunteers.

The role involves data entry, client registrations, and ensuring a smooth operation in a fast-paced office environment. A High School diploma and one year of related experience are preferred; bilingualism is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the general mailbox for Toy Mountain.
• Assist with the set-up, take-down and organization of toy distribution.

• Assist with data base training for office intake, registration and distribution.
• Assist with client registrations and distribution as required.
• Assist with coordination with program supplies.
• Oversee collection of volunteer paperwork.
• Record statistical data in a clear, organized manner.
• Perform other related duties as required.
