The Salvation Army in Canada seeks a temporary full-time Christmas Kettle Assistant to organize and supervise kettle volunteers and kettle campaigns. You will coordinate scheduling, support volunteers with the online system and ensure secure handling of donations across kettle sites.
Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, at least one year in community programs, and proficiency with Word/Excel; a valid Ontario driver’s license is required. Flexibility and strong teamwork are essential.

The Christmas Kettle Assistant helps to organize, direct, and supervise the work performed by Christmas Kettle Campaign Worker activities.
This is a temporary full-time position based on 37.5 hours per week. Shifts may include days, afternoons, evenings, weekend shifts, and split shifts, Monday through Saturday. Applicable shifts include a ½ hour unpaid meal break. Flexibility in scheduling is required, as the hours may increase as per operational requirements. Ability to lift/move up to 20 lbs. (11.34 kgs) in a safe manner. Required to wear appropriate Salvation Army identification. Local travel (up to 20%) is associated with this position. Use of personal vehicle will be required. Completed High School or equivalent.
The target hiring range for this position is $17.60 to $21.84 with a maximum of $26.20. Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
